Program Description:

Jeff CasonThe Cason Scholarship Award is in memory of Jeffrey W. Cason who served as Dean of International Programs at Middlebury College for nine years. This scholarship is in recognition of his lifelong passion for international teaching, learning, and study abroad. A limited number of students from colleges and universities other than Middlebury will be granted scholarships of $3,000 every semester. 

Eligibility
  • Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at a U.S. college or university other than Middlebury College.
  • To be considered, students must be accepted by one of the Schools Abroad and meet all additional application requirements.
  • Preference will be given to students whose home institution’s financial aid is not transferrable.
Scholarship Application Deadlines:
Fall and Academic Year Programs:               March 1
Spring Programs:                                          September 15

Applicants will be notified about award status by March 15 (fall) and October 15 (spring).

** ** Indicates rolling admission application process. Applicants who apply in the fall or winter will be notified on February 15th of the academic year preceding study abroad. Applicants whose applications are completed after February 15th (or anytime in the fall, if they are applying to study abroad during the following spring semester) will be immediately notified of acceptance into this program and be able to complete post-decision materials prior to the term's application deadline. Some Schools Abroad will fill before the deadline.
