Middlebury Global Security Semester

Undergraduate students have the unique opportunity to take graduate-level courses in the Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies (NPTS) MA program at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. Students directly enroll in NPTS classes, taking up to 18 credits during the semester. Students may enroll in MIIS courses outside of NPTS, including content-based language classes and courses in Departments such as International Policy & Development, International Environmental Policy, Language & Intercultural Study, or International Trade.

GSS students are also eligible for a wide range of professional opportunities through the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS) and the Center on Terrorism, Extremism, and Counterterrorism (CTEC).

By studying away at MIIS as an undergraduate, students may be able to get a head start on a future graduate degree.

Phyllis Stinson is the advisor for this program.  Please feel free to contact her with any questions: pstinson@middlebury.edu.
