University College Dublin (UCD) combines the excitement of living in Dublin with the convenience of studying at a suburban campus. With over 25,000 students on its 300 acre site located only 3 miles from the center of Dublin, UCD offers the housing, entertainment, and recreational facilities you expect to find on a campus.
At the College of Arts and Human Sciences, UCD, you have two options for selecting classes; taking all classes within one college, or by taking the majority of courses within a primary college and a few classes at another college. Some of the subjects you can choose from include history, English literature, languages, politics, economics, geography, classical studies, music, philosophy, sociology and social policy, and mathematics and statistics. You'll take six courses per semester earning 15 semester hours of credit.

Arcadia Advantage

We encourage you to contact your program manager for advice on the application process, choosing courses, or simply what you should pack. Once you arrive in Ireland, our resident director will lead an orientation program in Dublin that will introduce you to the culture, history and politics of Ireland as well as preparing you for the academic challenges of studying in a different educational system.
